Homeowners witnessed substantial frozen pellets reaching sizes of 7 centimeters in certain regions. Meteorological experts announced that multiple regions across Queensland had been impacted by significant hail.

State Emergency Services handled nearly 600 calls for help across the area, primarily for property damage but also for collapsed vegetation and flooding.

Moist weather were predicted to continue along large portions of Queensland's east this week as a low-pressure trough continued to attract humidity against the coastal areas.
Tuesday was forecast to be the most rainy day, with persistent thunderstorm potential anticipated across different parts of both areas.

Health officials alerted that there was an greater possibility of thunderstorm-induced asthma across the state's northern country region, specifically given the current weather patterns.
