Labour's Longstanding Dominance Confronts Intense Challenge

Labour has governed in the Welsh parliament since the regional government was created in 1999, with Caerphilly serving as one of its important seats. But, opposition parties aiming to form the next Welsh government have conducted intensive efforts in this Welsh electoral area.

Voting locations began operations at 7am on Thursday and will close at 10pm, with the outcome expected in the early morning of the next day.
