During a commanding showing, the English national team wrapped up another victory versus their opponents, with several players turning in notable performances during the match.

First-choice Lineup

The midfielder Deliveries from corners and free kicks caused problems. Enjoyed freedom to drift on the left yet found himself offside as the pass came in shooting positions. Granted a well-earned rest on the hour mark. 6

The star midfielder Played in an advanced spot down the right and also did plenty of dirty work. Demonstrated moments of class and mishit an attempt wide. Replaced towards the end by a teammate, his competition, after receiving a caution. 7

Jarrod Bowen Was presented with the team's top opening in the opening period, his effort smartly stopped by Thomas Strakosha. With Quansah hanging back, he was forced to stretch the play down the right side although his balls from the touchline were hit and miss. Substituted for the final quarter-hour. 6/10

The captain The difference-maker with his 77th and 78th strikes for his country. His first a typical opportunist's goal and the second a classy headed goal having drifted away off his defender. Now 32, his form is unwavering and England have every chance next summer when he's in the team. Eight

The attacker Had difficulty to make an impact from the left. Had a presentable chance following a pass from a teammate however Strakosha made the save. Rashford made much more of influence when substituted. 5
