Militiamen smirk as they move on the back of a pick-up truck, speeding alongside a series of nine lifeless forms and driving facing the setting Sudanese sunset.

"Observe all this accomplishment. Observe this instance of genocide," a fighter exclaims.

He grins as he turns the camera on himself and his fellow militiamen, their RSF identification clearly shown: "They will all be killed in this manner."

The men are rejoicing over a atrocity that aid workers fear claimed the lives of in excess of 2,000 people in the Sudanese urban center of the Darfur city in recent weeks.

An Urban Center Isolated from the World

After maintaining the community under encirclement for almost 24 months, from August the militia moved to strengthen its control and blockade the surviving residents.

Orbital photography reveal that troops started to build a massive berm - a built-up earthen wall - surrounding the boundaries of al-Fashir, closing roads and preventing aid.

Disturbing Footage Shows Defenseless Individuals Executed

By sunrise on 26 October the RSF overwhelmed the remaining army defenses and seized the main compound in the urban area, the headquarters of the 6th Infantry Division, as the government forces retreated.

One of the most graphic footage to surface and analysed depicted the results of a atrocity at a campus structure on the western side of the urban area, where scores dead bodies were visible spread throughout the floor.

Space-based imagery captured on October 26th seemed to substantiate that executions were additionally performed on the streets of al-Fashir, based on a study released by the university analysis team.

Paramilitary Leaders Attempt to Implement Public Relations
